Eng Trans:

There’s no one like you, even if I look around it’s just like that
Where else to look for? A person good like you, a person good like you, a heart good like you, a gift good like you
How lucky, the person who will try hard to protect you is just me
Where else to look for? A guy happy like me, a guy happy like me, a guy who laughs with the greatest happiness like me

In cold times when your two warm hands turn cold, in hurt times when your heart which used to be strong turns soft
To silently take your hands, to silently hold you, I wish to cheer you up just by those little things
It’s fine even if you don’t know this heart of mine, which always wants to do more for you

My heart, say it out loud, my free soul
The days left are even more than the time when I came love you with a heart which always felt like the first time

*There’s no one like you, even if I look around it’s just like that
Where else to look for? A person good like you, a person good like you, a heart good like you, a gift good like you
How lucky, the person who will try hard to protect you is just me
Where else to look for? A guy happy like me, a guy happy like me, a guy who laughs with the greatest happiness like me

When my greedy heart gradually looks to other directions, when my greeds grow more than my mind can handle
To understand, to tell me clearly after all those excuses “I’m here”, only that one thing
I’m always thankful. Will I ever act that well just like you

Rap> You know what, even though I’m a little, just a little bit, shy, you don’t know it but you’re burning like the sun, please understand my heart
Even though those girls appearing on TV shows are sparkling on stage, I always look at you (I’m crazy crazy Baby)
Hearing you tell me “I love you”, I have everything in this world You & I, You’re so fine, Is there even anyone like you?
I love you Oh, please know it, that to me there’s only you, that I foolishly see you as my everything

We came on the same road, we are just like each other, how surprising, how thankful, it’s just love

*There’s no one like you, even if I look around it’s just like that
Where else to look for? A person good like you, a person good like you, a heart good like you, a gift good like you
How lucky, the person who will try hard to protect you is just me
Where else to look for? A guy happy like me, a guy happy like me, a guy who laughs with the greatest happiness like me
There’s no one like you

SS501 (pronounced as Double-S 501 or Deo Beul E Seu Oh Gong Il in Korean) is a South Korean boy band under management of Daesung Entertainment, also known as DSP Entertainment. The name of the band is a combination of the alphabet and numbers that have special meanings in them. The first “S” stands for “Super”. The second “S” is an abbreviation for "Star". The number 5, 0, and 1 means "five members united as one forever".

History
[edit] 2005-2006: Debut

SS501 debuted on June 8, 2005 with their first single "Kyeonggo" (Korean: "경고", "Warning"), with a second single "Snow Prince" released in late 2005. The group was inactive in Korea for most of 2006, although they had a fan meeting in Japan in April.[citation needed] The hiatus was due to Heo Young Saeng's throat condition which required surgery, thus resulting in a need for time to fully recover.[citation needed]. In mid-2006, they held their first concert, "Step Up Concert" in Osaka, Japan. In late 2006, they returned to Korea in order to promote their first full album, which was released on November 10 and titled S.T.01 Now. Singles from the album included "Unlock" and "Four Chance". As well as promoting the album on various variety and music shows, they also filmed a show on MNet called SOS. The group also lent their voices for the 2006 animated movie Pi's Story.[citation needed]
[edit] 2007-2008: Japanese activities, 'Boys Over Flowers'

Later in 2007, the group debuted in the Japanese market. A Japanese fan club has been established with the name of "Triple S Japan"; it officially debuted on March 25, 2007, when SS501 had their first official meeting with the group. The group released their Japanese single "Kokoro", alongside multiple versions, including one with all members and five others featuring the members individually. The single debuted at #5 on the Oricon chart, and move to #3 the next day. A full album was released later in the year.

In 2008, SS501 returned to Korea with their single Deja Vu released on March 8, 2008. The title track was the first song to be promoted, and they started their comeback on music channel M.Net's M Countdown.[2] After success with their single "Deja Vu", they began to promote their second single, "A Song Calling For You". They performed their Goodbye Stage on Music Bank on June 6, 2008, to return to Japanese activities.

On October 2, 2008, an official announcement confirmed that leader Kim Hyun Joong was part of the cast for the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango, officially named Boys Over Flowers. It was broadcast on KBS in the first half of 2009, with a total of 25 episodes and a few special episodes.

With both Park Jung Min (Danny Park on the musical Grease) and Kim Hyun Joong on solo activities, the next SS501 album was pushed back to July 2009. As such, the other three members released a project album named U R Man in November 2008. The first single released was "U R Man". They also promoted their single for the Boys Over Flowers soundtrack, "Nae Meoriga Nabbaseo" (Korean: "내 머리가 나빠서", "Because I'm Stupid"). Due to the success of the drama, the song had a high number of downloads.
[edit] 2009: Solo collection, second mini album and first Asian tour

They released their official second Japanese album on May 13, 2009 titled All My Love and had a promotional tour in Japan in support of the album. The group also released their Solo Collection, consisting of the individual members' songs.

After concentrating on their individual activities, the group made a comeback and released their second mini album titled Rebirth, with the limited edition being released on October 20, 2009[3][4] and the normal edition on 22 October. The limited special edition album included two posters and a 100 page photo diary. Their comeback song "Love Like This" was well received, winning two Music Bank awards and one Inkigayo Mutizen in November. The group ended promotions for the album on November 29, 2009.

On August 1, 2009, the group started their first Asia tour,[5] visiting Seoul, Tokyo, Taiwan, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
[edit] 2010: Third Mini Album

The group held a concert in Thailand, February 2010 before holding their final concert in Seoul to conclude the tour. They were initially going to release a new mini album on May 1, 2010, however the date was later on pushed back because of the need to "add the finishing touches."

On May 22, SS501 was one of many popular groups that performed at the 2010 Dream Concert. And being that Kim Hyun Joong was still recovering from his injuries, they only sang ballad songs.

A day after their performance at the Dream Concert, one of their mini-album tracks titled "Love Ya!" was leaked onto the internet. Not long afterwards, the teaser for the comeback track was released. On May 24, 2010, due to the leaks, DSP Media decided to release SS501's new mini-album, Destination online, which contains six tracks in total.

Although most of their music is composed by various people, the members of SS501 have also contributed to their albums. Kim Hyung Jun and his brother, Kim Ki Bum (U-KISS) composed, under the name "H&B", the songs: "Want It", "The One", "I AM", "Hey G". Kim Hyung Jun also wrote the lyrics of the song "Obsess" in their Rebirth album. Heo Young Saeng composed his solo song "Is It Love?" and "Until Forever", one of the tracks in SS501's album Destination. Park Jung Min composed the song "Kiss" which is sung by Rainbow, he performed the song at their Persona concert.

Shinee (샤이니, stylized as SHINee, pronounced /ˈʃaɪniː/ "shiny") is a contemporary R&B South Korean boy band. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, they made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Popular Songs with their promotional single, "Nunan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)" ("누난 너무 예뻐 (Replay)", lit. "Older Girl, You're So Pretty (Replay)"). The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin.

Since their debut, Shinee has won numerous awards. They have also starred in their own reality show based on their song, "Nunan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)". Shinee are considered to be fashion icons having started the "Shinee Trend", which is popular amongst the younger generation.

2008: Debut

In late May 2008 news articles started to surface online about SM Entertainment's new group, Shinee (pronounced "shiny"). On May 23, the group's first mini-album, Replay was released. Replay debuted at #10 on the Korean music charts and peaked at #8, selling 17,957 copies in the first half of 2008.

On June 7, 2008, Shinee participated in the Dream Concert in the Seoul Olympic Stadium along with other high profile Korean stars such as Epik High, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ and the Wonder Girls. The group won their first award, Rookie of the Month, at the Cyworld Digital Music Award on June 22, 2008. Shinee took part in SMTown Live '08, which was held on August 18, 2008. They performed alongside labelmates BoA, Zhang Liyin, Cheon Sang Ji Hee the Grace, Girls' Generation, Super Junior and TVXQ. On August 23, 2008, Shinee attended MNet's 20's Choice Awards 2008, where they won the "Hot New Star" award. Shinee released their full debut album, The Shinee World, on August 28, 2008. The album debuted on the charts at #3, selling 30,000 copies.
Shinee performed at SM Town Live in Bangkok

The first single released from the album was "Sanso Gateun Neo (Love Like Oxygen)" (산소 같은 너 (Love Like Oxygen), lit. You Are Like Oxygen), a cover of "Show the World" by Martin Hoberg Hedegaard, originally written by the Danish songwriting and production team of Thomas Troelsen, Remee and Lucas Secon. On September 18, 2008, Shinee's "Sanso Gateun Neo (Love Like Oxygen)" was the #1 song on M! Countdown. A few days later, Shinee received the "Mutizen" award for the single on SBS's Popular Songs. Shinee participated in the "5th Asia Song Festival", where they received the "Best New Artist" award with Japanese girl group Berryz Kobo.

Shinee attended the 2008 Style Icon Awards on October 30, 2008, where they won the "Best Style Icon Award". On the same day, they released The Shinee World as a repackaged album under the name Amigo. Included on album were three new songs: "Forever or Never", a remix of "Sa. Gye. Han (Love Should Go On)" (사.계.한) and the promotional single "A.Mi.Go (Amigo)" (아.미.고). "A.Mi.Go" is a shortened version of the Korean phrase "Areumdaun Minyeorueljoahamyeon Gosaenghanda" (아름다운 미녀를 좋아하면 고생한다 lit. Heart Aches When You Fall In Love With a Beauty).

On November 15, 2008 Shinee won the "Best Male Rookie" award at the 10th annual MNET KM Music Festival, beating fellow newcomers U-Kiss, 2PM, 2AM and Mighty Mouth. At the 23rd Annual Golden Disk Awards, they performed a medley of their songs, "Nunan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)", "Sanso Gateun Neo (Love Like Oxygen)" and "A.Mi.Go (Amigo)" and won the award for "YEPP Newcomer Album".
2009: Return to the music scene

SM Entertainment announced that Shinee would make their comeback with their second mini album Romeo on May 21, 2009. On May 18, "Juliette", the first single was released; the song is instrumentally a remake of Corbin Bleu's "Deal with It". It was later announced that their comeback was going to be delayed due to Onew damaging his teeth and the release of the mini-album was pushed back to May 25. Shinee eventually had their return performance on June 5, 2009, on KBS's Music Bank, where they received the award for first place.

The group released their third mini-album, titled 2009: Year of Us, on October 19, 5 months after the release of Romeo. SM Entertainment stated that this EP would showcase the group's vocals and demonstrate their unique qualities. The lead single "Ring Ding Dong" was released digitally on October 14; the group had their comeback stage on October 16, on KBS's Music Bank.
Image and artistry

Shinee is known for their fashion style, created by designer Ha Sang Baek (하상백), which features high-top sneakers, skinny jeans and colorful sweaters. Their style has created a fashion trend amongst students which the media dubbed the "Shinee Trend". This has led to product endorsements, and the band has promoted Smart, Korean cosmetic company Nana's B, and Reebok.
Other activities

Shinee was the topic of a mini-series reality show Shinee's YunHaNam, which was hosted by MNet. The show ran from August 8, 2008 to October 16, 2008, with a total of twelve episodes. Each episode featured the band members going on a date with an older woman, after which she would chose one member for a solo date. The group also recorded a song, "Stand By Me", for the Korean drama adaptation of popular manga series Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio. In addition to promoting Smart, Shinee recorded a song titled "Blue Pink Song", to further promote their product. Shinee recorded a digital single "Bodyguard" to promote Samsung's Anycall mobile phone. They have also recorded a song titled "Countdown" for drama series Dream and "Fly High" for Prosecutor Princess.

In January 2010, Shinee starred in the second season of KBS's Hello Baby, taking care of a 3 year old boy Jung Yoogeun.

Rain (Korean: 비; born June 25, 1982), real name Jung Ji Hoon, is a South Korean pop singer, dancer, model, actor, businessperson, and designer. He is well known throughout Asia.

Rain has released seven albums (six Korean, one Japanese) and 19 singles. He won the KBS Best New Actor award for his premiering role in the drama Sang Doo! Let's Go To School. In 2004, Rain won the KBS Excellence in Acting award for his role in the drama Full House. After starring in A Love To Kill, he acted in his first Korean film, I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006), which won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival. Rain has acted in the American films Speed Racer (2008) and Ninja Assassin (2009).

In 2007, Rain left the management of JYP Entertainment and started his own company, J. Tune Entertainment.

It has recently been announced that Rain will act in a new drama called "도망자 (Runaway / Fugitive)" (2010). He will be the male lead while Lee Na Young will be the female lead. The drama will, under its currently plans, start to be filmed later this month (June 2010). It is set to air in either late September or early October of this year.

Early life

Rain spent most of his childhood living with his parents and younger sister, Jeong Hanna, near Hongik University. Despite being an introverted and shy child, he discovered he had a passion for dance when he performed in a talent show for Sungmoon Junior High School. Rain initially had a difficult time balancing dance and academics and received low grades during the beginning of junior high because of his frequent dance practices. He decided to follow his passion and attended Anyang High School of Arts in Anyang, Gyeonggi, where he received his first formal instruction in acting and was able to continue dancing as well. Rain again found he could not focus on both dance and his studies in acting; he was truant on several occasions.

Rain lost his mother as she struggled with diabetes and died in 2000. Within that same year, Rain was recruited as a trainee for JYP Entertainment, led by recording artist and producer Park Jin-Young in 2000. In a CNN interview, however, he recalled being repeatedly rejected because of his looks: "In fact, I was told after one audition that my singing and dancing was great but I didn't make it because I didn't have double eyelids."[1] During the early years of training, Rain was a backup dancer.[2]
[edit] Career
[edit] Debut

In 2002, he debuted with the album Bad Guy where he was introduced to the media through his stage name, Rain. The album's title single was "Bad Guy" and was followed by "Handshake". After his first album, in 2003, he made his television debut in the KBS drama, Sang Doo! Let's Go To School. Following the success of his debut as singer and actor, Rain released his second album, How to Avoid The Sun, and released the title song "Ways to Avoid the Sun."
[edit] Fame
Rain during a performance.

In 2004, he starred in the popular drama called "Full House" with one of Korea's most popular actresses, Song Hye Kyo. The drama had viewer ratings of over 30 percent for every episode.[2] It was broadcasted in various other countries including the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Israel and the United States. His performance in the drama won him the Best Actor Award at the KBS Acting Awards.

His third album, It's Raining (2004), sold over 1 million copies in Asia.[3] According to a report by Rain's previous agency JYP Entertainment to the Korea Culture & Content Agency, It's Raining topped the charts in all of the following countries as of December 29, 2005: Japan (100,000 copies), China (500,000 copies), Taiwan (70,000 copies), Thailand (150,000 copies), Indonesia (50,000 copies), and South Korea (154,000 copies), for a combined total of 1,074,000 units sold.[3]

Rain then went on his Rainy Day 2005 Tour, starting in Seoul and followed by Tokyo and Hong Kong. The tickets sold out quickly.[4] the Rainy Day global tour in 2005 sold out over 150,000 seats in 8 cities in Korea, China and Japan. His first solo concert in Japan, entitled Rainy Day Japan held at the Tokyo International Forum had all the tickets sold out 30 seconds after going on sale.[2]
[edit] Overseas

Rain's fourth album, Rain's World, was released in Korea on October 14, 2006.

He acted in his first film, I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK, directed by Park Chan-wook. The film won the Alfred Bauer Award at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival,[5] and was selected as the opening film for the Hong Kong International Film Festival. Also, Rain was nominated for and won Best New Actor at the 43rd Baeksang Awards.[6]
[edit] Asia

His Rain's Coming Tour began on December 15, 2006 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul and was scheduled to continue through 2007 to the following countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, United States, and Canada.[7] His tour incorporated the talents of producers and stage designers (such as Jamie King and Roy Bennett) who have been involved with the concert tours of other artists such as U2, Michael Jackson, Ricky Martin, Madonna, Britney Spears, and The Rolling Stones. Ticket sales were expected to be over US$100 million.[8]

Rain released his first Japanese album, Eternal Rain on September 13, 2006. His concert at the Tokyo Dome on May 25, 2007 attracted nearly 40,000 people.[9] Rain was the first Korean artist to perform at the Tokyo Dome, the largest auditorium in Japan.
[edit] United States

In April 2006, Rain was mentioned in the Time magazine website article that named the "100 Most Influential People Who Shape Our World."[10][11] Rain stated that he was honored to be on the list, and also noted that it will be a great boost to his efforts to raise his public awareness in the United States.[12] In 2007, Rain topped Time Magazine's online user poll although he was not in the magazine's actual list.[13] He also made it into People's 2007 list of the "Most Beautiful People" in the world.

His two-day concert in the United States, Rainy Day New York was marketed and promoted by the Asian concert production company Rainstone Live. Tickets were sold out within a matter of days and the concerts were held at Madison Square Garden.[14] Rain performed two concert dates in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 23–24, 2006; the tickets to these concerts sold out within the first week of sales. These concerts were held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. He won the Biggest Badass Award At the MTV Movie Awards 2010.[15]

In 2007, Rain was included on People's Most Beautiful People list for the first time, in its "First-Time Beauties 2007" section.[16] In a press release, Rain stated that he was honored to be on the list, and also noted that it will be a great boost to his efforts to raise his public awareness in the United States.[12] Also in 2007, Rain topped Time's open online poll: he defeated Stephen Colbert by 100,000 votes;[17] Colbert jokingly retaliated by producing a parody of Rain's music video for "Ways to Avoid the Sun" called "He's Singin' In Korean". Stephen Colbert then challenged Rain to a dance-off "or a cuddle-off, or a spoon-off". On May 5, 2008, Rain appeared in a surprise guest segment at the end of The Colbert Report, and proceeded to engage Colbert in a dance-off. In the end, Rain won by causing the Dance Dance Revolution machine on which they were competing to overload and explode.[18]

On October 16, 2008, Rain released his fifth Korean album, Rainism. Rain released "Love Story", as the first single from the album, shortly followed by the single, "Rainism". On November 24, 2008, The Commission of Youth Protection judged Rain's album, Rainism, inappropriate for people under 19 years old because of the song "Rainism".[19] In "Rainism", the lyrics (translated from Korean) "Trembling inside your shaking body is my magic stick/Feeling the impassable limit of the body shake" were considered problematic due to their phallic and sexual references.[20] Rain has re-released a "clean version" of "Rainism" shortly after,[21] but instead of changing the original album's contents, he has labeled a sticker that deemed "Rainism" inappropriate for those under 19 years old.[citation needed]

In 2008, he acted in his first American film, the Wachowski Brothers-directed Speed Racer, where he played Racer Taejo Togokahn. He made his starring role debut in Ninja Assassin (2009), as the main character Raizo. Ninja Assassin was directed by James McTeigue, and produced by Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers.[22] The project was inspired by the ninja scenes featured from Speed Racer, in which Rain had impressed the Wachowskis with his portrayal as a fighter.[23]

Rain concluded The Legend of Rainism Tour at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 24–25, 2009. He performed most of the songs on his recent album, Rainism. The Legend of Rainism Tour had concerts in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hongkong, Indonesia and Las Vegas.

On April 6, 2010, Rain released a mini-album titled Back to Basic including the hit singles "Love Song" and "Hip Song". The album was supposed to come out on April 1, but due to the naval ship tragedy in Korea it was delayed for a while.
[edit] Legal Issues

In February 2007, Rain and his former management agency JYP Entertainment as well as a concert organizer, Star M Corporation, were sued over copyright infringement of the stage name "Rain," by the U.S. recording firm Rain Corporation. The company, which works with an American band also called "Rain," demanded that Rain drop the English name in the United States. In June 2007, the lawsuit ended because the Nevada District Court determined there was no evidence indicating that Rain Corporation would suffer any actual harm. Since the filing of the lawsuit, Rain's U.S. concert promotional posters had been changed to "Ji-hoon's World Tour 2007"; however, Rain may continue using "Rain's Coming World Tour."

On his World 2007 tour, his scheduled concerts in Shanghai, Toronto, San Francisco, and Hawaii were canceled, followed by the last concert in Los Angeles. The last event at the Staples Center was canceled only two hours prior to opening: Rain's producer blamed the situation on financial problems with the local promoter, while the local promoter blamed Star M calling them too "incompetent to handle the situation."[24]

On March 19, 2009, a federal jury in Honolulu found that Rain, his former management agency JYP Entertainment, and two other promotion companies were guilty of breaching a contract and defrauding Honolulu promoter Click Entertainment for $2 million (originally just over $1 million) after the Hawaii concert was canceled and the promoters were not refunded the $500,000 licensing fee.[25] Rain and JYP were ordered to pay $2.4 million each in punitive damages, $1 million for damages related to the fraud, and $2.3 million for breach of contract.[26]

A separate lawsuit filed by promoters Wellmade STARM was dismissed by a South Korean court on January 28, 2010. Judge Bae Kwang-Kuk ruled in favor of Rain and blamed the plaintiff for poor preparations surrounding the cancelled U.S. tour.[27]
[edit] Six to Five

Six to Five is Rain's new and first own clothing line, since it also was his dream to become a fashion designer. It was launched on December 23, 2008 and was followed with a "fashion show–launch party–mini-concert" to introduce 'Six to Five'. Many stars came to support him, such as Lee Hyori, Kim Suna, Chae-Rim and Girls' Generation's Seohyun. He designs and models the clothing. The label 'Six To Five' is described by Rain as coming from the idea of having an extra sense, i.e. from five senses to six. This label name also is said to represent his birth date, 6/25.
[edit] Humanitarian work

Rain was involved with MTV EXIT, a campaign against human trafficking in Asia.[28] He presented Traffic: An MTV EXIT Special, a documentary[29] which gives insight into the realities of trafficking, addresses the part everyone can play in the issue, and gives information on how people can protect themselves as well as what people can do to help end exploitation and trafficking.
[edit] J. Tune Entertainment

In November 2007, Rain told the Korean media that he has left JYP Entertainment and started his own entertainment company, J. Tune Entertainment (formerly known as Rainy Entertainment). He was scheduled to be CEO of the company, but told the media that he still kept in touch with his mentor and long-time trainer Park Jin Young. J. Tune debuted MBLAQ, an all-boy group, in October, 2009.

As promised, Rain has given his personal answer and feelings toward the circulating rumor on his relationship with actress Jeon Ji Hyun. According to the man himself, “No, the rumors aren’t true.”

According to Rain, he’s known that a paparazzi was chasing after him for over a year. The media where that paparazzi belonged to recently contacted him, informing him that the company has successfully achieved various crucial information to back up his relationship with Jun Ji Hyun. Rain told the media to feel free to reveal them to public, as he has no shame in saying that the rumors are false.

Many evidences supporting their relationship were actually given, including how both were sighted wearing Cartier’s couple-worn ring & bracelet and how Rain is often seen visiting Jeon Ji Hyun’s condominium in Seoul Samsungdong.

MBLAQ

MBLAQ, (엠블랙, an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean quintet boy band created by Korean pop R&B singer Rain under his label J.Tune Entertainment. The group debuted in October 9, 2009 at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert. On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, "Just BLAQ", which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea.[1] The group then released their second single Y in May 18, 2010.

Having trained for two years, MBLAQ was first announced on 21 September 2009, with an appearance on Nylon magazine. The group appeared alongside Rain, in his Legend of Rainism concert. They performed various songs from their produced EP, Just BLAQ and were met with praise. The group released teasers for their debut song, "Oh Yeah" on October 12, with the music video being released two days later. Coinciding with the music video, MBLAQ's debut single album Just BLAQ, was released on the same day, topping various charts in South Korea. The next day, the group made their broadcast debut on M.net's M!Countdown, performing "Oh Yeah".

In early December, the group debuted in Japan, following their performance during Rain's fan meeting- resulting in a documentary being produced surrounding their stay at Japan. Later in the month, the group commenced promotions for their follow up track, "G.o.o.d Luv", with the music video being released December 10, 2009. On December 15, it was announced that the group would be part of Season five of the Idol Show (Hangul: 아이돌 군단의 떴다! 그녀 lit. Idol Corps, She Has Arrived!), with the first episode airing a day later.

On May 19, 2010, the group released their second single album, Y. The music video for the title track, "Y" was released on the same day with teasers being released from May 6. Shooting scene in MBLAQ’s Y MV to be deleted. This may not seem to be a big deal, but for Korean channels, it’s enough to be banned. The song is about revenge which there is a scene where Lee Joon’s character “shoots” his ex-girlfriend.

[Kyuhyun] From head to toe you’re covered in Luxury
Whew~ So dazzling how could anyone dare to touch you

There’s not even so much as a smile Oh, My God~
My heart that used to beat well is now going Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom

[Ryeowook] The chocolate lips she’s biting can’t even touch that glass
I cannot erase the sight of you that I saw at that time, at that moment

[Heechul] Twinkle Twinkle Little Star the girl who’s hot all over
I was attracted to her bad image I see it I see it, Is it wrong of me to say?
